Meet Kenna.

Hi there! My name is Kenna and I am a User Experience Strategist located in Chicago, IL. Since I was young, I have been obsessed with people: the way we think, connect, and find joy in everyday things. With my background in both creative and technical fields, I have a passion for combining these interests to craft accessible experiences for the thing I love: people.

For the past 5 years, I have worked with EVERSANA Intouch researching and creating user-centered products. I also have freelanced designing and developing websites since high school. In addition to my experience in UX and development, I also have a passion for photography and videography.

I am always down to collaborate and love taking on new challenges. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn or shoot me an email at keenowainc@gmail.com!

How I Work

Research-Led Design

I talk to real people before I make decisions. From moderating usability sessions to facilitating UX workshops with first-time digital clients, research is not a phase I check off. It helps inform my design decisions and create usable products.

Clarity in Complexity

Whether it is regulated industries, sensitive user populations, legal constraints, or nervous stakeholders, I gravitate toward the hard problems and strive to uncover the clearest path through them.

Bridging Design and Development

A background in development means I design with technical constraints in mind from the start. When a developer says something is not possible, I can usually offer an alternative that is. That fluency makes me a faster collaborator and a more precise designer.

More About Me

I love to travel. It gives me the opportunity to learn how other people and cultures approach design in the everyday world, from the layout of the bullet train station in Japan to the signage in a Spanish market. Those observations quietly shape how I think about the people I design for. Every new place is a reminder that design is not universal. What feels intuitive in one culture can feel completely foreign in another. Which is exactly why I believe so deeply in talking to real people before making design decisions.
